Visa information

Participants planning to attend the 2026 IEEE Mediterranean and Middle-East Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (M2GARSS 2026) in Marrakech, Morocco, are strongly advised to check visa regulations relevant to their country of citizenship well in advance. Morocco welcomes many nationalities without a visa, but some attendees will need to apply prior to travel. Countries Exempt from Visa A significant list of countries are exempted from Moroccan entry visa requirements.   • Applications for Moroccan short-stay visas (including for conferences and scientific meetings) are processed via the official online portal: https://www.acces-maroc.ma/#
  • Applicants should select the option "eVisa Event / Conference" and complete the online form.
Invitation Letter
  • Registered attendees can request a formal invitation letter to support their visa application.
  • Note: Providing an invitation letter does not guarantee visa approval. Applicants must meet all Moroccan. visa requirements.
